did you know that north carolina ranks second behind california in sales of rainbow flip flops? it makes sense that california is first, since rainbow is headquartered in san clemente... and after spending the last 29 years in north carolina, i can see why our state ranks second. in the spring and summer, the rainbow flip flop was the shoe of choice for many co-eds in chapel hill. i was a reef girl myself, but finally broke down and bought a pair of rainbows last year - - now that i make my home in wilmington, nc. living here without owning rainbows would be like living here and not owning a bathing suit.
